JOIN NURAI CONNECT 90 - ACROSS THE NORTHERN TERRITORY — TENNANT CREEK TO DARWIN VIA ALICE SPRINGS

About This Event

Join NURAI CONNECT 90 across the Northern Territory for a distinctive chapter connecting Central Australia, regional communities and the Top End through Human Connection and Economic Connection.

From 24 April–3 May 2027, the Northern Territory chapter enters the Barkly region from the Mount Isa/Camooweal corridor, continues through Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, then turns north through Central Australia toward Mataranka, Katherine, Palmerston and Darwin.

This chapter is designed around the realities of distance, regional access and place-based participation. Rather than treating remote-facing and regional communities as stops between major cities, NURAI CONNECT 90 seeks to listen locally, work through appropriate community relationships and create practical connections that reflect the strengths and priorities of each location.

Human Connection activities may include listening, Connection Circles, community engagement, purposeful introductions and pathways to continued local connection. Economic Connection activities may bring together people, employers, businesses, skills, training, service providers and opportunities through locally relevant introductions and engagement.

The chapter culminates in Darwin CONNECT DAY on 3 May 2027, bringing together the Northern Territory’s Human Connection and Economic Connection activity before the national programme transitions toward Western Australia.

ONE CONNECTION CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING.
