About This Event
VOICELIGHT Auditions – is an online gospel singing talent competition created to identify, promote, empower, and expose gospel singers, worship leaders, inspirational artists, and faith-based musical talents across Kenya and beyond.
The competition is presented by Bishop Justin Alain in connection with Rise and Shine World Inc. (RSW) and Jam Global Events.
VOICELIGHT is more than a competition. It is a platform designed to inspire, uplift, build confidence, strengthen ministries, and create positive impact through gospel music and digital media.
The competition will be hosted LIVE online through TikTok and YouTube platforms.
Selected contestants will have the opportunity to:

SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION
1.1 Purpose of the Competition
VOICELIGHT is an online gospel singing talent platform created to identify, promote, empower, and provide visibility to gospel singers, worship leaders, inspirational artists, and faith-based musical talents.
VOICELIGHT Kenya Auditions – May Edition 2026 is organized as an online gospel talent competition hosted through digital platforms, including TikTok LIVE and YouTube, with the purpose of creating a professional, faith-centered, inspiring, and accessible opportunity for singers to showcase their gift.
VOICELIGHT is connected with Rise and Shine World Inc. (RSW) and Jam Global Events for broader visibility, event coordination, digital access, registration support, and future platform development. The use of www.rswinternationalfestivals.com is for official registration, information, and communication purposes.
VOICELIGHT is not only a competition. It is a platform for worship, encouragement, talent development, exposure, community building, and positive gospel impact.
SECTION 2: NATURE OF THE COMPETITION
2.1 Competition Structure
VOICELIGHT Kenya Auditions – May Edition 2026 is an online gospel singing competition.
The competition may include:
- Daily online audition sessions
- Weekly performances
- Weekly winners
- Monthly champions
- Kenya National Final
- VOICELIGHT Community BreadImpact sessions
- Worship and testimony sessions
- Online interviews, features, and promotional opportunities
Participation is primarily online unless otherwise announced by the organizers.
SECTION 3: REGISTRATION
3.1 Registration Process
Registration is free unless officially stated otherwise by the organizers.
All contestants must register through the official website:

Registration for the May Edition closes on:
9 May 2026
The first week of competition is scheduled for:
Monday 11 May 2026 – Sunday 17 May 2026
Registration does not guarantee participation. Participation is subject to available slots, eligibility, compliance with rules, and organizer approval.
Slots are limited. If a preferred day or session is full, applicants may be required to select another available session.
3.2 Registration Approval
Submission of a registration form does not automatically guarantee participation or selection.
The organizers reserve the right to:
- Approve
- Decline
- Postpone
- Reschedule
- Reassign
any contestant based on:
- Slot availability
- Technical readiness
- Conduct
- Compliance with rules
- Competition structure
SECTION 4: ELIGIBILITY
4.1 Participation Eligibility
The competition is open to gospel singers and faith-based musical talents who are able to perform live online.
Eligible participants may include:
- Solo gospel singers
- Worship leaders
- Praise singers
- Inspirational singers
- Choir members
- Duo or group performers
Participants must:
- Be willing to perform gospel or faith-based music only
- Have access to a stable internet connection
- Have access to TikTok and/or YouTube
- Be available for online live performance
- Follow all instructions from the host and organizing team
- Maintain respectful and professional conduct
The Kenya Auditions are primarily for contestants residing in Kenya or representing Kenya.
The organizers reserve the right to approve, reject, reschedule, or remove any participant where necessary.
SECTION 5: AGE REQUIREMENTS AND MINORS
5.1 Minor Participation
Participants under 18 years old must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before registering and participating.
Where required, the organizers may request:
- Parent or guardian name
- Parent or guardian phone number
- Written confirmation of consent
- Proof of age
Minors must not participate in any unsafe, exploitative, inappropriate, or harmful manner.
The organizers reserve the right to decline participation of any minor where proper consent is not provided or where participation may not be appropriate.
SECTION 6: COMPETITION SCHEDULE
6.1 Competition Sessions
Competition sessions may run according to the schedule announced by the organizers.
The May Edition may include:
- Daily live competition sessions
- Session 1: 1:00 PM Kenya Time
- Session 2: 5:00 PM Kenya Time
- VOICELIGHT Community BreadImpact session
- Weekly Final
- Sunday Worship and Testimony session
The organizers may adjust times, sessions, or schedules based on availability, platform conditions, technical issues, or operational needs.
Contestants must check official updates regularly through the website, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, or other official communication channels.
SECTION 7: COMPETITION JOURNEY
7.1 Advancement Structure
The competition journey may follow this structure:

Weekly winners may advance to monthly competitions.
Monthly champions may advance to the Kenya National Final.
The Kenya National Final Champion may receive higher recognition, bigger rewards, additional media visibility, and future opportunities depending on the development of the VOICELIGHT platform.
SECTION 8: PERFORMANCE RULES
8.1 Live Performance Requirements
All performances must be live unless otherwise approved.
Contestants may use instrumental tracks, but full playback, lip-syncing, or fake singing is not allowed.
Contestants must perform gospel, worship, praise, or inspirational faith-based music.
The organizers may reject any song or performance that includes:
- Vulgar language
- Sexual content
- Hate speech
- Violence
- Political incitement
- Disrespectful religious content
- Offensive or inappropriate behavior
- Content contrary to VOICELIGHT values
Contestants must be ready at their assigned time and must follow all live instructions.
SECTION 9: TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
9.1 Internet and Device Responsibility
Contestants are responsible for ensuring they have:
- Stable internet
- Working device
- Clear audio
- Quiet environment
- Good lighting where video is required
- Functioning TikTok/YouTube access
- Ability to join LIVE or panel when invited
VOICELIGHT is not responsible for:
- Poor internet
- Power failure
- Device failure
- Audio problems
- TikTok or YouTube errors
- Platform restrictions
- Missed performance due to contestant technical issues
Where possible, the organizers may reschedule a contestant, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.
SECTION 10: CONDUCT AND CHRISTIAN VALUES
10.1 Expected Conduct
VOICELIGHT is a gospel-centered platform. All contestants, guests, supporters, and audience members are expected to behave with dignity, respect, and integrity.
Participants must avoid:
- Insults
- Harassment
- Bullying
- Hate speech
- Public arguments
- Disrespect toward the host
- Disrespect toward other contestants
- Immoral or inappropriate conduct
- Misrepresentation of the platform
- Any behavior that damages the image of VOICELIGHT, RSW, Jam Global Events, the host, sponsors, or partners
The organizers reserve the right to remove or disqualify anyone whose behavior is considered harmful, disrespectful, unsafe, or contrary to the purpose of the platform.
SECTION 11: JUDGING AND SELECTION
11.1 Evaluation Criteria
Contestants may be evaluated based on:
- Vocal ability
- Song delivery
- Confidence
- Stage presence
- Worship impact
- Creativity
- Professionalism
- Audience engagement
- Consistency
- Discipline
- Overall presentation
The judging process may involve the host, invited judges, audience engagement, and internal review.
Audience engagement may be considered, but gifts, likes, or comments alone do not automatically determine the winner unless officially announced.
All decisions made by the organizer, host, judges, or management team are final.
SECTION 12: AUDIENCE SUPPORT, GIFTS, AND ENGAGEMENT
12.1 Audience Interaction
Audience members may support contestants through:
- Likes
- Comments
- Shares
- TikTok gifts
- Encouragement
- Following official platforms
- Sharing live links
Gifts are voluntary and should never be forced.
VOICELIGHT does not guarantee that gifts will result in winning.
Contestants and guests must comply with TikTok and YouTube rules at all times.
SECTION 13: VOICELIGHT COMMUNITY BREADIMPACT
13.1 Community Purpose
VOICELIGHT Community BreadImpact is a community-centered session designed to promote appreciation, encouragement, support, testimony, unity, and positive impact.
It is not designed as a forced gifting session.
The purpose is to:
- Encourage one another
- Celebrate testimonies
- Support talents
- Build community
- Promote kindness and gratitude
- Strengthen the VOICELIGHT family
Participation in BreadImpact panels may be limited and may require separate application, selection, or rotation.
Panel spaces may be offered on a first-come basis, waiting list basis, or selected by the organizers.
The organizers reserve the right to manage panel access to ensure fairness, order, safety, and professionalism.
SECTION 14: REWARDS, PRIZES, AND RECOGNITION
14.1 Rewards Structure
VOICELIGHT may offer:
- Weekly prizes up to 5,000 KSH
- Weekly rewards and recognition
- Certificates
- Social media promotion
- YouTube features
- Interviews
- Performance opportunities
- Monthly bigger prizes
- Special opportunities
- Kenya National Final recognition
Prize structures may change depending on sponsorship, availability, funding, program growth, and organizer decisions.
The phrase “up to” means the amount may vary and is not a guaranteed fixed payment to every winner.
No participant is guaranteed money, contracts, fame, sponsorship, international travel, or career success.
Rewards may be delayed, modified, substituted, or withdrawn if necessary.
SECTION 15: CERTIFICATES
15.1 Certificate Policy
Certificates may be issued to selected participants, winners, finalists, or recognized contestants.
Certificates may be digital or physical depending on availability.
A certificate does not represent academic accreditation, government recognition, employment qualification, or formal professional licensing.
Certificates are recognition documents only.
SECTION 16: MEDIA CONSENT AND IMAGE RIGHTS
16.1 Media Usage Rights
By registering and participating, contestants grant VOICELIGHT, Bishop Justin Alain, RSW, Jam Global Events, and affiliated platforms permission to record, screenshot, publish, repost, edit, promote, broadcast, and use:
- Name
- Stage name
- Image
- Voice
- Performance
- Biography
- Social media username
- Interview
- Video clips
- Photos
- Comments
- Testimonials
for promotional, media, marketing, archival, educational, and event-related purposes.
This permission applies across:
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Websites
- Posters
- Flyers
- Event promotions
- Media features
- Future VOICELIGHT campaigns
No additional payment is owed for promotional use unless separately agreed in writing.
SECTION 17: COPYRIGHT AND MUSIC RIGHTS
17.1 Music Responsibility
Contestants are responsible for ensuring that the songs they perform are suitable and lawful for public online performance.
VOICELIGHT is not responsible for copyright claims arising from songs chosen by contestants.
If a platform removes, mutes, flags, or restricts content because of copyright issues, the organizers shall not be liable.
Contestants should avoid using copyrighted backing tracks where they do not have permission, especially where the performance may be uploaded to YouTube or reposted.
SECTION 18: SOCIAL MEDIA AND PUBLIC IMAGE POLICY
18.1 Public Conduct
Contestants must not use social media to:
- Defame VOICELIGHT
- Attack other contestants
- Harass the host or organizers
- Spread false information
- Create public conflict
- Damage the reputation of the platform
- Mislead the public about prizes, results, or decisions
Concerns must be raised privately and respectfully through official channels.
Public misconduct may lead to disqualification, removal from future editions, or withdrawal of recognition.
SECTION 19: ANTI-FRAUD AND FAKE ENGAGEMENT POLICY
19.1 Fair Competition
VOICELIGHT values fairness and genuine engagement.
The following are prohibited:
- Fake likes
- Fake followers
- Fake viewers
- Fake comments
- Fake gifts
- Bot activity
- Impersonation
- Manipulated engagement
- Multiple fake accounts
- Payment fraud
- Misleading supporters
Any contestant found engaging in fraudulent activity may be disqualified immediately.
The organizers reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and make final decisions.
SECTION 20: ATTENDANCE, CONFIRMATION, AND WAITING LIST
20.1 Attendance Rules
Contestants must confirm their availability before their assigned session.
Failure to confirm may result in loss of the slot.
If a contestant is late, absent, unreachable, or technically unprepared, the organizers may:
- Replace the contestant
- Move the contestant to a waiting list
- Reschedule the contestant
- Remove the contestant from the edition
Waiting list participants may be invited where slots become available.
SECTION 21: COMMUNICATION
21.1 Official Communication Channels
Official communication may be sent through:
- Website updates
- TikTok announcements
- YouTube updates
- Social media posts
Contestants are responsible for checking updates regularly.
Failure to read official communication is not an excuse for missing sessions, deadlines, or rules.
SECTION 22: DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
22.1 Personal Information
VOICELIGHT may collect personal information for registration, scheduling, communication, media promotion, competition management, and record keeping.
Information collected may include:
- Full name
- Stage name
- Age
- Country
- City
- Phone number
- Social media handles
- Performance details
- Images and videos
- Parent or guardian details where applicable
Personal data shall be handled with reasonable care and used for competition-related purposes.
Participants consent to the processing of their personal data for VOICELIGHT activities.
Participants may contact the organizers for reasonable correction or update of submitted information.
SECTION 23: PLATFORM RULES
23.1 Third-Party Platforms
VOICELIGHT operates partly through third-party platforms including TikTok and YouTube.
All participants must comply with platform rules, community guidelines, and safety standards.
VOICELIGHT is not responsible for:
- Account bans
- LIVE restrictions
- Platform outages
- Gift restrictions
- Monetization issues
- Copyright blocks
- Account limitations
- Platform policy changes
SECTION 24: SPONSORSHIP AND BRANDING RIGHTS
24.1 Sponsor Integration
VOICELIGHT may work with sponsors, partners, media organizations, churches, brands, platforms, and supporters.
The organizers reserve the right to:
- Add sponsor logos
- Mention sponsors during LIVE sessions
- Display partner branding
- Integrate sponsor benefits
- Offer sponsor-supported prizes
- Create partnership opportunities
Sponsors do not control judging unless officially announced.
SECTION 25: NO EMPLOYMENT, MANAGEMENT, OR AGENCY RELATIONSHIP
25.1 Independent Participation
Participation in VOICELIGHT does not create:
- Employment
- Agency representation
- Management contract
- Partnership
- Record label contract
- Sponsorship contract
- Salary obligation
Any future professional relationship must be agreed separately in writing.
SECTION 26: SAFETY AND WELFARE
26.1 Safety Requirements
Participants must not place themselves or others at risk during performances.
Contestants must avoid:
- Dangerous locations
- Unsafe performance setups
- Public disorder
- Harmful stunts
- Inappropriate environments
- Exploitative situations
The organizers reserve the right to stop a performance where safety concerns arise.
SECTION 27: DISQUALIFICATION
27.1 Grounds for Disqualification
A contestant may be disqualified for:
- False information
- Misconduct
- Abusive language
- Hate speech
- Fraud
- Fake engagement
- Impersonation
- Copyright abuse
- Repeated absence
- Disrespect
- Platform violations
- Inappropriate content
- Damage to VOICELIGHT reputation
- Failure to follow rules
Disqualification may occur without refund, compensation, prize, or further participation rights.

The organizers may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time where necessary.
SECTION 29: FORCE MAJEURE

VOICELIGHT shall not be liable for delay, cancellation, loss, or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
- Internet shutdowns
- Platform outages
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Power failures
- Illness
- Civil unrest
- War
- Cyberattacks
- Technical failures
- Acts of God
- Emergency situations
SECTION 30: COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE HANDLING

The organizers may review complaints but are not required to reverse results.

- Select judges
- Invite special guests
- Create additional rounds
- Modify judging criteria
- Publish selected performances
- Rebrand or expand VOICELIGHT
- Connect VOICELIGHT with RSW, Jam Global Events, or other platforms
These rights are necessary to protect the integrity and growth of the platform.
SECTION 33: ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
33.1 Agreement
By submitting the registration form, joining a LIVE session, performing, or participating in VOICELIGHT, the applicant confirms that they:
- Have read these Terms and Conditions
- Understand the rules
- Agree to comply with them
- Consent to media use
- Consent to communication
- Accept the authority of the organizers
- Understand that participation is voluntary

34.1 Mission and Vision
VOICELIGHT Kenya Auditions – May Edition 2026 exists to raise voices, strengthen gospel talent, promote worship, inspire communities, and create opportunities for singers to be seen, heard, and developed.
